Dior 5 Color Couture Colour Eyeshadow Palette 970 Stylish Move.

This is one of my all time favorite palettes! I'd gotten it as a gift from a dear family friend and at first, I was kind of skeptical about it mainly because I'm not the type of person who naturally gravitates towards outlandish colors, but I have to say, 9 times out of ten, I will find a way to incorporate one of the shades in my makeup. 


This is such a pretty palette. The colors are really vibrant, so when I want to go for an exaggerated look, I will turn to this palette, and they are just subtle enough that when I need to have something low key on my eyes, I can with ease. With the Dior 5 Color Couture Colour Eyeshadow Palette, the pigmentation is through the roof! But while I love the pigmentation, but I have found that one shade, the light lilac, is really light though, but all in all, I have no problem with it because I just usually use it as a highlighter, and it does the job perfectly! The blending power of this palette is also worth a call out. I usually come across shadows that are chalky and don't really blend that easily, and also deposit so much fall out, that my life turns to hell, but with this palette, that is just one more thing I don't have to worry about.

The dark purple, as seen above, is just insane. I literally find myself reaching for this color every single day. I usually find different ways to incorporate it into my makeup, and it seriously pays off on so many levels! I also find that the lighter colors can be used to highlight, or on my crease. Either way, they look beautiful against my skin.
The staying power is great, honestly. I've used this palette a bunch of times without applying a primer underneath, and it would usually last a good while, which I consider a testament of it's greatness! 

Another thing I adore about this palette is the packaging. It's compact, and sturdy, which means I can carry it around in my purse without worrying about my precious shadows shattering. It also comes with a little mirror, which always warrants an A+ in my book! 

I honestly don't know how I survived so long without the Dior 5 Color Couture Colour Eyeshadow Palette. Since the day I got it, it hasn't left my side. I use it morning, afternoon, night, and I never ever seem to run out of ways to incorporate the gorgeous colors in my makeup. I definitely need to pick a new palette up when I hit pan with this one, because I simply don't imagine myself doing my make up without it.
