Naked 3 Palette Review & Swatches.

I've had my eye on the Naked 3 Palette since the day it came out, and I finally got my hands on it. Despite the fact that I already own the other two palettes, I knew I had to get the Naked 3 because I knew for a fact it was bringing something new to the table.

If you already have one of the first two palettes or even both, you might be asking yourself why you should get the Naked 3. I mean, it must seem like such a waste of money, each palette retails for about $50, almost 500 L.E.

The thing is, I've had this palette for a few days, and I got to play around with it and experiment a little, and I did find that, while the Naked 1 and Naked 2 Palettes do offer great shades to work with, the Naked 3 offers a whole different array of colours.

For starters, both Naked 1 and Naked 2 offer earthy, neutral colours. Naked 3, on the other hand, gives you 12 never before seen shades that all originate from the same place: rose. The twelve shades in the Naked 3 are all rose toned hues, ranging from mattes, to shimmers to everything in between. Even the darker shade, Blackheart, is speckled with red toned shimmer.

The Naked 3 Palette differs from its counterparts in that it offers 12 completely new shades, never before seen, while the first 2 have repeats. By that I mean the Naked 3's 12 shades are completely new in the sense that they were exclusively released in the palette. Naked 2, for example, features a shade or two from the Naked 1 Palette. So there's that. There's also the fact that the shades are beautiful.

I am not one to gravitate towards any shade that isn't an earthy, neutral shade, so hearing that the Naked 3 Palette had not one, not two, but TWELVE rose toned shades put me off a little, to be honest, but from where I stand today, I am *so* pleased I got it. The shades, while rose tones, are still neutral and gorgeous as ever.

Something to be said about the quality is that it is unparalleled. As always, Urban Decay delivers when it comes to quality, as the pigmentation of almost all the eyeshadows is beautiful beyond believe. A few colours, I noticed, really did feel butter soft, while one or two felt a bit chalky. Nothing off putting, of course. I also love that I get a few shades that I can apply wet, leaving for beautiful payoff as the shimmer in them is gorgeous. I think of Half Baked from the first Naked Palette when referencing said shade. I think Trick and Buzz are both beautiful shimmery shades that can add a much needed oomph to any look.
