Hello darlings,
While visiting my grandma, I was complaining that I'd run out of foundation when she said that she had bought one last week only to discover that it didn't match her skin tone, and that I could have it. Turns out, it's the Pupa Milano Fondotinta Antitraccia, which literally means non transfer foundation. I swatched it, and fortunately for me, it matched my skin tone perfectly! Now, part of the reason I decided to try out this foundation is because I know that where I live, Egypt, Pupa isn't really thought to be a great cosmetics brand, and while they do have a pretty big line of products, not many people that I know consider Pupa their go-to source for makeup in Egypt. So I wanted to see if the products were quite as bad as everyone thinks they are, or if unfortunately they've become the underdog just because.
After applying the foundation and waiting it out a couple of hours, I knew what my feelings were about it. First of all, I liked the consistency, which was a little runny, but easy to apply and blend. Once blended, I noticed that the foundation has quite a matte finish, which was a huge plus for me, and it didn't exhibit any oiliness, especially around the nose which is usually oily. I found that it has a light to medium coverage, which I honestly really liked. While I loved the coverage, there was something about the texture that was a little off-putting for me. I don't know, I mean it's not that the texture was bad or anything, but I just didn't like the way it looked on my face.
As for the staying power, I found that this foundation has a little-medium staying power. It isn't one that would last all day, but it still lasted a few hours. A lot more than I thought it would, so that's good.
Would I purchase it again? I'm not quite sure.
