Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Lip Stain in Darling/Cherie

I'd read great things about Revlon's Just Kissable Lip Stains and because I live somewhere where getting my hands on a large diversity of makeup brands is difficult, I was very late to jump on the bandwagon. I'd spent days debating which shade would go best with my skin tone, and I finally decided on Darling, which has a very light lilac tint to it. I normally don't gravitate towards colors that aren't neutral, but I just loved the shade so much that I couldn't pass it up! What I love most is that on my lips, it just looks very rosy and that the color is vibrant enough, yet not too vibrant. Another huge plus to the Revlon Just Kissable Lip Stain is the staying power. Because this is a lip stain, and not a gloss or lipstick, it's staying power lasts longer. I found that I don't have to reapply every few hours, which is such a relief.
Would I purchase it again? Hell yes! And in every possible shade, please.

The Wet n Wild Petal Pusher Palette

To be honest, when I was browsing the wnw website, I was actually going for the Comfort Zone Palette, since it does have all the shades I would naturally gravitate towards, all being on the neutral side, but something about the Petal Pusher Palette called to me. I loved the vibrant, yet mild, colors the palette had to offer, and since my entire collection consisted to mostly earthy tones, I thought that it was time for a little change. First of all, let me say I was really skeptical about this palette. At $4.99, it's a real steal, and I knew for sure it wouldn't pay out, and boy was I right. The minute I got it, I swatched the colors and I was instantly disappointed. A few of the colors felt chalky, and some colors weren't pigmented at all!I thought to myself "Okay, no problem. Maybe applied on my eyes in the right way and blended well with other colors, the colors might actually work." WRONG! The amount of fallout from this product is insane, I had to wipe off everything off my face and re-apply my foundation because of it. I now know that you really get what you pay for with some things. Would I purchase it again? NO!

NYX Curve

I've always been an eyeliner kind of gal. That was my go to look, for everything. Weddings, parties, work, school, everything. I never went anywhere without my trusty liquid liner, and I never even tried a different look, despite my shaky hands giving me a harder time than bargained for. That's why when I heard about the revolutionary product from NYX, I was beyond intrigued. They said that even the most uncoordinated person could pull off the classic winged liner with ease! I read and read and read about this product, looking for something that would confirm my suspicions, that it was just another over-hyped product that didn't do anything it promised, and wasn't worth the money, but to my absolute delight, every single person who tried this product raved and raved and raved! The minute I got it, I knew that this was going to be my saving grace! The one liner to rule them all. This product makes it so easy to create the perfect winged liner with precision and ease, and its ergonomic design lets you have more control onto it, which results in a perfect look every. damn. time. The color is jet black, and I like that because some of my eyeliners aren't that dark which is kind of a bummer. It lasts all day without the slightest sign of smudging. The NYX Curve is now my absolute favorite of all my products, mostly because it just makes life so much easier. If you don't have this, I urge you to go out and get it, right now! Would I purchase it again? YES!

Covergirl LashBlast Volume Mascara

Though I'm fairly new to the makeup game, 6-7 months, there's always been two things I never strayed from : my liquid liner, and my mascara. I've always used the Bourjois Volumizer Mascara, and don't get me wrong, it's still a favorite of mine, but while shopping online, I came across the Covergirl Lashblast mascara, and I thought I'd try it out since I don't really have much stuff from Covergirl. This mascara didn't give the long, sexy lashes I was expecting, but these soft, demure, natural lashes that had just enough volume to get them noticed, yet not too much that they looked fake, and for that, I was pleasantly surprised. I mean, I already have my Bourjois mascara and my Benefit They're Real mascara for the kind of lashes any girl would kill for, but it was kind of refreshing having a mascara that was kind of different, in a good way. I now use this for my daily routines, such as school, and work and even to the gym! It's nice to have a mascara I can use for my everyday running arounds, and have one for night where I get to let my hair down and my lashes out. Would I purchase it again? Yes.

L'OrĂ©al Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream In Medium.

A few months ago, while in Paris, I came face-to-face with this BB cream in a drugstore. I swatched it, and right off the bat, I was in love! The color, the texture, the blendability, everything just screamed at me. But upon choosing between this BB cream or the Maybelline BB creme, I chose the Maybelline, and I instantly regretted it. It was nothing like my beloved L'Oreal. That's why when I find it once more, I just couldn't pass it up! This BB creme is just the holy grail of BB cremes in my eye. It can do NO wrong. I find that it blends perfectly with my skin tone, and it has a gorgeous finish. It has light to medium coverage, which I find is good since I don't like my face to look to unnatural, and cakey, and I find that I can wear this practically anywhere, at anytime. Would I purchase it again? Yes yes yes.

NYX Cream Rouge Blush In Hot Pink

To be honest, I didn't even mean to buy this item. I was looking to buy a new blush and I loved the color Hot Pink, but due to a mix up, I managed to get it in cream instead. I was surprised when I opened the packaging & found myself face to face with cream blush rather than my precious powder blush. I thought to myself "okay, no biggie, I mean it's still the same color I wanted, so who knows, maybe this will end up being a new favorite of mine". Boy was I wrong. The product just feels beyond sticky, and I found that it's so hard to blend. I tried everything, I even tried my handy dandy Beauty Blender when I'd run out of options, and yet still, nothing. It would look blotchy and uneven on my face no matter what. I'm thinking that maybe not all cream blushes are like this, that maybe it's the NYX ones, or maybe mine was just part of a bad batch. I don't know. What I do know, though, that the $6.75 spent on this was money down the drain. Not worth it at all, and I know I could have bought something so much better for the same price, or even cheaper. I will try re purposing it into something else, like a lip gloss. Would I purchase it again? No.
